Illinois Sales Tax Rate Changes for Certain Municipalities Effective July 1, 2024

Please update your cash registers and computer systems to account for the change. Make sure your sales staff knows to adjust their quotes for the change in rates if materials are going to be purchased or delivered after July 1, 2024.

Nearby municipalities that have increased their rates are Addison (+0.25%), Crystal Lake (+0.75%), Marengo (+1.25%), McHenry County (+0.25%), Mundelein (+0.25%), North Aurora (+0.50%), Pingree Grove (+1.00%), Woodridge - Cook County (+0.50%), Woodridge – DuPage County (+0.50%), and Woodridge – Will County (+0.50%).
