There were some new grant opportunities recently announced for Cook County. The first being the Source Grow Grant through Cook County which prioritizes suburban Cook County businesses (60% of total funds will be distributed to businesses in the suburbs). The second is through the Comcast Rise program to help small businesses owned by women and/or people of color. Cook County is one of five locations in the nation participating. They will be distributing $10K grants as well. You can learn more here.
